Grow Old With Money or Fear Growing Old Without Money

People In Their 30’s And 40’s Fear Growing Old Without Money

       Greg is a 63-year old man.
The salt and pepper hair fit him nicely.  Makes him look elegant.  Greg also wears cool clothes that make him look like a rich gentleman.
But his eyes can’t hide the bone-chilling terror inside.
       Yes, Greg has a cushy job.

Greg was staring at the perfect storm.   A financial calamity that was coming in two years.

Rich Thinking versus Poor Thinking

There is a slight difference between the rich thinking and the poor thinking people around us. Take a look at this comparison and decide for yourself what kind of thinking do you have. This is from my mentor Robert Kiyosaki.

Rich Thinking:

                    Charity                              Liabilities
                    Success Education
                    Business Seminars

Poor Thinking:
Income    -   Expenses:                    = Savings:
                    Household                        Charity
                    Doodads                          Success Education
                    Liabilities                          Business Seminars

                                                            Investments

Carefully scan at how and where the expenses of the Rich Thinking people go. Look at the priorities of their spending. They still have expenses for household but they also make it sure as urgent as possible to give for charity, success education, business seminars, books for personal development, and for investments. And after the first priority, comes the less important one's such as the unnecessary things in life called "doodads" and the liabilities.

By the way according to Robert Kiyosaki, assets are those that generates income that eventually adds to our pocket. While liabilities are those that adds up to our cash outlay monthly.

In contrast, poor thinking spends the money first for household of course, the doodads, and buys things that will only add to their monthly cash outlay called the liabilities. And after that, if their still are savings, only then that they will give for charity, education, business seminars, books, and investments.

In tough times, rich thinking people always put first things first and that is for personal growth and investments. Like charity, success education, seminars, books and investments.

Don't be Hasty to Get Wealthy

Trading in the stock market means you're hasty to get rich. You want a get rich quick program. You want to zoom yourself up to the top. But without building the stepping stones and working on your character towards your goal, you will surely go to poverty again.

Scripture says that The plans of the diligent leads surely to advantage, but everyone who is  hasty comes surely to poverty again (Proverbs 21:5)
Some will make it as traders. Yes its possible to some.

Unofficial statistics say that only 15 percent of the traders will make money in the stock market.

Documented statistics say that if the person keeps on investing for 10 years, 100 percent of them will make money!

You now have a choice: one has 15 percent probability of earning money and the other has 100 percent probability of earning money.

Long-term investors (like us in the TrulyRich Club) still outperform traders in the stock market.

Follow the Scripture. Don't be hasty to get wealthy.

Capacity Plus Character Equals Success

To succeed in life, you need two things: Capacity and Character.
Capacity is what you do. Character is who you are.
Capacity is your abilities. Skills. Gifts. Talents.
Character is your old fashioned virtues.

The best definition about Character. Character is who you are when no one is watching.

Your capacity can be incredible but if you have no character, you won’t go anywhere too.
Yes, you can enjoy short-term success if you have capacity. But you can enjoy long-term success only if you have character.

The world worships capacity. We overemphasize it. But without character, all capacity is useless.

Do you want to know your long-term impact in the lives of people? Here’s the formula: Your character multiplies your capacity.

Here is a sample computation of the formula above:

Rate your capacity from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest.
And then rate also your character from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest.

Let say your capacity is 10 and your character is also 10 then, your long-term impact on the lives of people will be 100 (10X10).

Another one is 5 for capacity and 10 for character then, it makes 50 impact to other people.

But if you have 10 for capacity and 0 for character then, it makes zero impact to the lives of people (10X0).

To get a hundred percent impact on the lives of other people you've got to have both 10 for capacity and character.

Fantastic Stock Market Investment Return

Since I invested in the stock market the return is so amazingly great. It gave me so much that I wasn't able to figure this out before. And because of this I invested more in the stock market.

I now invest in different great companies nationwide. I try to diversify my investment to make it safe. I like to invest and not trade the stocks I bought.
